Pro Agreement

Version 2026-10-04. Every pro accepts this before unlocking leads.

This agreement is between you (the business or person offering services through HireHelpers) and HireHelpers. It adds to our Terms of Service.

1. You are an independent business

This agreement is between you and Hire Helpers LLC, which operates HireHelpers.com (“HireHelpers”, “we”).

You are an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of HireHelpers. You decide how, when, and at what price you do your work, and you provide your own tools, vehicles, and staff.

HireHelpers does not control or supervise your work and is not a party to any agreement between you and a homeowner.

2. Licenses, permits, and insurance

You are responsible for holding every license, registration, bond, and permit required to perform your services where the work is done, and for keeping them valid.

You must maintain commercial general liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence for as long as you use HireHelpers, and workers’ compensation insurance wherever the law requires it for you or your workers.

You will upload a current certificate of insurance when asked, renew it before it expires, and tell us promptly if a policy is cancelled, lapses, or its limits fall below the minimum.

Providing a certificate does not satisfy any legal requirement for you. Insurance requirements for your trade and location may be higher than our minimum.

3. You are responsible for your work

You are solely responsible for the quality, safety, timing, pricing, and legal compliance of your services, including building codes, warranties, permits, inspections, taxes, and payment of your employees and subcontractors.

Any contract, estimate, or warranty is between you and the homeowner. Resolve disputes with them directly and in good faith.

4. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HireHelpers and its owners, officers, employees, and contractors from claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your services, your breach of this agreement or the Terms of Service, your violation of law, or injury or damage caused by you, your employees, or your subcontractors.

5. What HireHelpers does, and does not, do

HireHelpers is a marketplace that introduces homeowners and independent pros. We do not employ pros, perform or guarantee any work, or recommend a particular pro.

Our review of a certificate of insurance is limited to checking the document you provide, and sometimes contacting the carrier or agent. An “Insurance verified” badge means we reviewed a certificate that was current on the date shown. It is not a guarantee of coverage, financial strength, license status, or workmanship, and policies can change after we review them.

Homeowners are told to confirm licenses and insurance for their own job before hiring.

6. Accurate information and verification

Everything you submit, including your profile, license details, and insurance documents, must be true, current, and your own. Submitting an altered, forged, or someone else’s document is grounds for immediate and permanent removal and may be reported to authorities.

You authorize us to verify your information, including by contacting your insurance carrier or agent.

7. Using lead and homeowner information

Use a homeowner’s contact information only to respond to the request it came with. Do not resell it, add it to marketing lists, or share it with others except as needed to do the job. Follow applicable privacy, messaging, and do-not-call laws.

8. Lead access, suspension, and removal

You must accept the current version of this agreement before unlocking any lead. Trades with higher risk (currently roofing, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical) also require verified insurance before your first unlock. For other trades you have 14 days after signup to provide it. If your insurance expires or is not approved, you cannot unlock new leads until a current certificate is approved.

We may suspend or remove a profile for breach of this agreement, valid complaints, lapsed insurance, or misuse of the service.

9. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, HireHelpers is not liable for the acts or omissions of pros or homeowners, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. These terms add to our Terms of Service; if the two conflict on a point about pros, this agreement controls.

10. Changes to this agreement

We may update this agreement. When we do, we will publish a new version and ask you to accept it again before you unlock more leads. Your acceptance, with its version, date, and IP address, is recorded.
